Subject: Dianne Feinstein back in Hillary fold (Fox
News)
WASHINGTON - Looks like CA Senator Dianne Feinstein is back in the Hillary
fold. Yesterday, the Clinton supporter indicated that she might be wavering ?
telling Fox Senate producer Trish Turner that she?s a loyal person, but that ?I
don?t want to rip the party asunder.?
Her concern? ?On this one, the key is really in the strategy and whether
the strategy is workable,? she said. But Turner reports that, after receiving a
phone call from Senator Clinton this morning, Feinstein felt her questions were
answered.
?I?m sticking with her, absolutely,? she said.
The strategy Clinton laid out for her? ?To win.?
Feinstein said she didn?t give Clinton any advice on how to go forward,
mostly because it didn?t seem as though she needed any. ?She feels intense
support from her people. She is persevering. She is very collected. She is very
determined. She is really together,? said Feinstein. ?And she?s going to make
the decision if the time comes. She doesn?t believe its the time. And she?s
going to continue on.
?Her strategy is to win this election. And she?s entitled to her
opportunity to try.?
But Clinton also told Feinstein that she would do nothing that she feels
would harm the party.
Free and honest elections are the very foundation of our
republican form of government. Hence any attempt to defile the sanctity of
the ballot cannot be viewed with equanimity. When corruption enters, the
election is no longer free, and the choice of the people is affected.
(U.S. Supreme Court Justice, William O.
Douglass)
We need more
people speaking out. This country is not overrun with rebels and free thinkers.
It's overrun with sheep and conformists. (Bill
Maher)
