  •  Hi Nancy, since last sunday, people have been working the phones at 213 smithfield Street (Downtown Pittsburgh). The Headquarters are fully functional. Obama has started the Ads campaign. I haven't seen any but was told this is just the beginning. He intends to spend a lot of money in PA to defeat Hillary. As you know he does well with African Americans and college students. We have plenty of both in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. See you in April. Annie.

  •  Hi Nancy. Today I went to the Headquarters opening in Pittsburgh. Brought Pizza. Made phone calls. met people. It was really nice. The Headquarters address is 213 Smithfield Street in downtown Pittsburgh. Hope to see you when you come. thanks a lot for the help. We need all the help we can get since Pennsylvania is a big deal for Hillary and Barak. He's got more money and a lot of grassroot people. I just hope we can win Pittsburgh for Hillary. They're saying that we will lose Philadelphia.

  •  I would love to do the phone calls but I feel, with my accent (I'm French) I would not be as effective as in person. So I'll do whatever I can, except the phone calls. Thank You again for all your help. Is anyone you know targetting the college community of Pittsburgh? This is the area that concerns me the most ( with of course the AA community.) Annie.

  •  BTW how did you learn about the Pittsburgh Meetup? I did a search on line and found it. As for the hotels, I'll ask my husband how he finds the best deals. Sometimes you can get for the price of a sad, cheapo hotel a nice one (with discount prices). There are also extended stay places (usually a suite with kitchenette) that can end up costing as little as dingy motels. My husband is out of town but he will be back in a couple of days. Annie.

  •  Obama people are very active here. I see more Obama bumper stickers and lawn signs than Hillary's. Obama supporters are also very active on campuses. Pittsburgh, I was told, has more colleges per capita than any other city in the U.S. We cannot allow him to have the monopoly there. We have a very large student population and a sizable African American pop (not as much as Philly, but still). Pittsburgh and Philly have to be won by Hillary! Thank you again, Nancy. Hope to meet you. Annie.
