I Am Honored

It is an honor and a privilege to be a small part of helping Hillary Clinton. Oddly enough, I did not start out as a Clinton supporter. As a left wing liberal, I wanted something less moderate and centrist, and John Edwards was my choice. When John left the race, I looked long and hard at both candidates.

I combed through legislation, personal experience, and other data I could find. Of course, I am older, and was extremely pleased with the Clinton years in the White House. And, I am a native New Yorker, so I have first hand knowledge of Hillary's strength and loyalty to her constituents. But, I did not cut her any slack when I weighed my decision. I looked at all sides and overwhelmingly chose Hillary. Once that decision was made, I committed myself to working for her, as much as possible.

I made a change in my own thinking, recently. I remember being told, years ago, that if you think you are a winner, you portray yourself as a winner, and you work hard; you WILL be a winner. So, I stopped wasting time trying to deflect the Obama attacks. I am putting that same time into positive moves that can make a difference for Hillary. It is not about what he says and does. It is about getting her message out, Loud & Clear.

Hillary has been consistent and persistent in her service to our country. She is stronger than any woman I have met in my life (and, I am pretty strong myself). She deserves our respect and our gratitude for services that she has already performed for our country. Because of this, I want to treat her like the Winner that she already is and my recent work reflects that.

I will be sending out some information on actions steps, from time to time. The first, and easiest, is of course sending in a contribution. If you can't afford much, contribute $10 or $20. Every single dollar helps. You can click on the link in my signature to do this.
